AMaViS

AMaViS is a Mail Virus Scanner for linux and other UNIX based operating systems. This virus scanner is tested to run on Solaris, BSD, AIX and HP-UX. AMaViS scans e-mail attachments for viruses resides on attached files arriving via e-mail on a UNIX (Linux) machine.

AMaViS 0.3.x is a rewrite of AMaViS, A Mail Virus Scanner, in perl, which includes some new features and performance improvements. You should be familiar with perl or configuration of your MTA.
